Can I buy Inverse ETFs in a 401k?

It will be difficult to be able to buy an inverse ETF in a 401k account even though many are being forced to increase their product offerings. Mutual funds have had a stronghold on 401k plans for decades but we are starting to see many ETFs start to be included in more and more plans. The fees are lower than a typical mutual fund and many have strategies that can be used for hedging if the investor wanted to hedge some portfolio risk, while still being invested.
